La Copa del Mundo de Qatar 2022 dio comienzo con una verdadera fiesta, en donde la cultura de ese país fue el protagonista.
En una ceremonia que duró alrededor de 45 minutos, tuvo lugar un espectáculo de fuegos artificiales, que recibió a más de 60 mil personas en el estadio Al Bayt.

Entre las acciones más destacadas, fue la aparición del actor Morgan Freeman, además de que “revivieron” a las mascotas mundialistas, lo que generó un ambiente de nostalgia.
En la parte musical apareció Jung Kook, cantante y bailarín surcoreano representativo del grupo BTS, y Fahad Al Kubaisi, cantante, productor discográfico, modelo de moda y activista qatarí
